Therefore, it is vital that the successful applicant is familiar *****SoC Clocking architectures, Clock Tree Synthesis, Timing Closure.Power provisioning on large SoCs, effects of high frequency activity on power.Silicon lifecycle management, aging effect in silicon, on-chip instrumentation.As a field application engineer you will be part of the global sales team based in North America. This is a customer-facing role focused on pre-sales engagement to ensure successful introduction, evaluation, and deployment of Movellus' synthesizable IP solutions. Job DescriptionPromote Movellus products through pre-sales customer presentations and follow-up meetingsPartner with the sales team to perform technical qualifications and assess business opportunitiesEngage with customers to understand their needs and challenges seeking opportunities to apply Movellus IP products into solutionsDevelop technical collateral for Movellus productsGather and synthesize technical input from multiple customers to help drive improvements to existing products and identify new product opportunitiesRequired Education and ExperienceBSEE or equivalent5+ years of semiconductor industry experience5+ years of experience in customer facing applications engineering or similar rolesExcellent presentation, verbal and written communication skillsSolid understanding of SoC Clocking and Power structures, related architectural considerations, and implementation techniques.Working knowledge of Verilog/System VerilogAbility to work in Linux engineering environmentStrong problem solving skillsAbility to travel domestically up to 20% of the timeDesired QualificationsExperience in semiconductor design and/or verificationWorking knowledge of IC front or back-end flows including simulation, synthesis, physical design, static timing analysis, DRC/LVSExperience selling or supporting semiconductor IP is strongly preferredExperience with analog SPICE simulationExperience with System Verilog simulationKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python or TCLDue to the need to work with government agencies and contractors, USCitizenship is a firm requirement.
