They dont call us #funtilepeople for nothing!The Showroom Sales Representative for Specialty Tile works with professional trade and retail clients assisting in the selection and specification of luxury tile, stone and related materials for new construction and renovation projects. Duties include new client development, community involvement, product selection, providing technical specifications, fostering new business and project management.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssisting walk in and appointment clients with selection and design of stone and ceramic tileAssisting with product knowledge and recommending products based on client's individual needsDeveloping and maintaining knowledge of all materialsProviding samples and checking stock of materialsProviding clients with pricing, quotes and lead timesFollowing up on orders, reviewing open orders and contacting customers regarding order statusServicing assigned customer accounts and generating new accountsBeing a part of the local design community through industry events and growing relationshipsKnowledge & Skill RequirementsMust be sales driven and design orientedStrong sense of excellent client service and attention to detailWorking knowledge of tile & stone preferredBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)Design background preferredAbility to multitaskAbility to lift up to 25 lbs
