The Business Development department at MHW interacts with prospective and current clients to gain a full understanding of their business, brands and growth strategies, and identify MHW solutions that allow them to control their brands destiny and drive growth in US markets. What can you expect as a Client Development Representative?As a Business Development Associate, you are responsible for selling MHW's wide range of services to prospective and current clients interested in entering or expanding their business in the US or EU alcoholic beverage markets.Major Duties/Responsibilities:Consults with prospective clients to secure new service fee contracts for MHW, Ltd.Utilizes all available sources of prospective clients globally, develop a robust pipeline of leads and contacts that can be developed into immediate and future opportunities.Develops a work plan by gathering and evaluating all relevant information about the industryEstablishes a course of action based on priorities which will give you the greatest chance of success.Maintains periodic contact with new clients to monitor initial hand-off to the implementation, brand growth and future services for retention and expansion.Inputs/logs potential opportunity details into CRM system.Projects the professional, ethical image and character of the Company.Works collaboratively with all functional departments within the Company.Performs other duties as assigned.Critical Competencies:Ability to listen carefully to customers to gain a full understanding of their businesses and be able to articulate the benefits of MHW, Ltd. products and services in a way prospective client can appreciate their value.Building relationships that center around demonstrating innovative/unique ways that MHW, Ltd. can add value.Willingness and ability to confidently share one's views and push customers' thinking without being timid or afraid of broaching difficult topics or debating with customers.Has the ability to analyze a situation, identify potential solutions, carefully evaluate potential solutions and their outcomes and take appropriate action. Makes decisions and solves problems in a timely mannerAbility to learn new information quickly and resourcefully, whether this is information regarding MHW, Ltd. products/services, or customers' businesses. Maintains a high level of energy and independent effort to accomplish tasks and meet commitments in the expected timeframe. Holds oneself accountable to establish and achieve short and long-term business goals and/or deadlines.Being motivated to set aggressive goals and working tenaciously to pursue them with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines/commitments and persist when faced with obstacles.What background and experience is needed?The ideal candidate will possess a 4-year degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience. Candidates must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally. A strong initiative with exceptional presentation and communication skills is desired. Previous success attaining, and exceeding sales goals is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) as well knowledge of Salesforce is helpful.What physical capabilities are required?You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
