Job Title: Senior Business AnalystPurpose:The Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in identifying, defining, and documenting business needs related to changes in processes, policies, or information systems. This role ensures business objectives are met by translating requirements into clear specifications and serving as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.Key Responsibilities:Requirements Analysis (20%):Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements.Facilitate requirements analysis and verification sessions.Collaborate on project plans to organize and schedule requirements-related activities.User Acceptance Testing (20%):Ensure success in user acceptance testing through documentation, verification, and release.Identify and resolve system deficiencies or gaps in requirements.Develop end-user test plans and provide training and guidance as needed.Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting (20%):Identify, document, and resolve system, software, and process-related issues.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective solutions and workarounds.Documentation and Deliverables (20%):Create detailed documentation of business systems, processes, and user needs.Develop clear, organized requirements deliverables in line with established standards.Project Management Support (10%):Monitor and report on project status, identifying risks and ensuring timely deliverables.Coordinate assigned projects from initiation to implementation.Policy and Process Support (10%):Research and address policy-related questions and issues.Provide consultative support to internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.In lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of relevant work experience are required.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, testing, or related analytical roles.Preferred Skills:Strong ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time.Solid understanding of business analysis core competencies.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.Work Environment:Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, variable workload environment with frequently changing priorities.Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, even in challenging situations.Additional Requirements:Must disclose any events that affect eligibility to work on federal programs.
