Open link/Endur Business Analyst Hybrid Houston, Texas Ongoing Contract to Hire Our Fortune 1000 Energy client is seeking a Front & Mid-office minded Business Analyst with experience in ETRM applications such as Open link/Endur to join their Trading & Risk Management group. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our trading and risk management teams by leveraging your expertise in ETRM systems. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing and optimizing trading strategies, ensuring accurate risk management, and enhancing system functionalities.Key *****Assist traders by providing insights, generating reports, and resolving application-related issuesWork with traders to identify and document business requirements for system enhancements or new functionalitiesConfigure ETRM applications to support trading workflows and strategiesCollaborate with risk managers, compliance officers, and IT support teamsAnalyze and report on trading risk, exposures, and compliance with internal policies and regulationsPrepare and validate reports for regulatory compliance and internal audits.Detect and troubleshoot software issuesWrite clear quality code for software and applications and perform test reviewsDevelop, implement, and test APIsProvide input on software development projectsQualificationsExperience with commodity trading and risk platforms required Endur/OpenlinkStrong knowledge of ETRM / Commodity manager with emphasis in the Energy industry and global energy markets.3+ years of development experience5+ years of experience IT related experience5+ years of Systems Analysis experience5+ years of project related experience3+ years of experience with Windows Server3+ Report Writing experienceWilling to learn new skills and modulesComfort using programming languages and relational databasesStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills
