This position is located at our upcoming Seattle property for 1 Hotels. You will be part of an elite team of sales and marketing professionals who are driven to expand 1 Hotels market brand across the US and beyond. This is a goal driven opportunity with an above average market-based compensation plan.You will be responsible for all activities related to the sales function and revenue generation from corporations within the territories assigned. These may include accounts in insurance, finance, legal, consumer products, automotive, retail, consulting, etc. As a Group Sales Manager, you will focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives and personal booking goals. Role & **Analyze data, qualify, and perform targeted prospecting for new businessAttend appropriate industry tradeshows as a Sales representativeAttend domestic and international tradeshows for networking and exposure purposesBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients and hotel team to achieve inspiring guest experiencesFlexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operationMaintain focus on future booking pace from established and potential accountsMaintain professional and appropriate business appearance and demeanor aligned with the 1 Hotel brand and cultureMake decisions for clients that best align with being a platform for changeOrganize and conduct qualified familiarization tripsTravel to key markets to meet with existing and potential customers with upcoming group RFPsWork as a cohesive team member by remaining flexible, innovative, and positiveOther duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications & **A post-secondary diploma or degree in a field of study related to this profession; and/or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated selling skills; and proven achievements in selling, optimizing guest engagement and financial performanceMinimum of 3 years' experience in group sales within the luxury/hospitality marketExceptional skills related to business acumen, time management, written and verbal communication, prioritization, attention to details, problem-solving, public presentations, follow-up and throughPrior experience with Tripleseat and HMS or similar Property Management System is preferred
