Senior Account ExecutiveReports ***** Department Manager or COOJob DescriptionThe General Agency Senior Account Executive is a key position within agency sales and service team with primary responsibilities including coverage and procedural guidance to team members, assistance with team training, consulting, advising, communicating and relationship building between the agency, the agent, the carrier, and the consumer. Effective results expected from this position will be monitored through team performance, meeting deadline requirements, product knowledge, peer, consumer & carrier feedback and team growth/retention. This non-exempt position requires high level analytical and problem-solving skills, and this individual will handle communication, quoting, executing new business, assisting in qualifying existing renewals for possible alternative markets, account rounding and underwriting while using discretion and independent judgement. Essentials Skills/Job **Leadership qualities including effective mentoring, monitoring, and coaching team members which includes ** Non-biased feedback, leading by example in word, attitude, professionalism, team building, and ethics, and fostering a positive team mentality.Consult and advise clients and ability to negotiate with carriers.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExemplary customer service skillsAbility to handle Book of Business $500,000 and above.Mathematical skillsHigh attention to detail and instructionsAbility to work completely independently and with minimal direction in soliciting, rating and binding existing or new business.Typing with a minimum of 50 WPMAbove average technology skills including Basic Excel/Word/PowerPoint experience.Ability to effectively monitor team workflows.Required Experience & **State Insurance licenseAbility to sell, cross sell, and foster increased support towards sales with team for client base.Maintain expected retention levels.Assists with team training.Preferred Experience & *Advanced insurance product knowledge and risk management expertiseAdvanced coverage knowledgeFive years minimum agency experienceCollege EducationPrior leadership experienceOther ****Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
