Our client is an established white-label athletic streetwear company that designs for well-known international urban and athletic brands. They launched their label a year ago and now sell to major retail outlets. The company seeks a Senior Sales Manager with extensive experience selling urban streetwear to big-brand retailers, such as Nordstrom Rack, Bloomingdale Backstage, TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory, 5 Below, Dollar General, Family Dollar, etc, . In this role, your goal will be to generate over $1 million in new business within the first 6 months. You will be the brands public face, with influence over the design and 360-degree marketing campaigns. Your responsibilities will include traveling to meet prospective buyers, overseeing the showroom, and attending fashion events. You will work closely with the companys owners and lead designer.Responsibilities:· Effectively manage the daily operations of the wholesale business. This involves negotiating deals with buyers, monitoring the distribution process, and developing strategies to improve sales.· Responsible for negotiating deals with buyers. You ensure that the purchased products are up to the companys quality standards and are acquired at the best possible prices.· Manage the distribution process. This means overseeing the warehousing and transportation of products, ensuring they reach retailers within agreed deadlines.· Marketing: Promoting the product portfolio, developing marketing strategies, and analyzing sales figures· Setting sales goals: Aligning actions with company targets and strategies· Defining sales methods: Defining the sales method to manage risk and take into account customer profiles. Charged with developing effective sales strategies. It is your task to analyze market trends, identify potential clients, and devise plans to increase the companys sales and market share.· Negotiating contracts: Negotiating the terms of the sales contract· Managing inventory: Coordinating purchasing and sales, making orders, and stock-taking· Analyzing data: Providing data about customer needs and market trends, and using market insight analysis· Problem-solving: Identifying issues that are affecting sales and making quick decisions· Providing customer service: Responding to customer requests and issues and promoting customer loyalty initiatives. Develop trusted partnerships with clients, communicate with them consistently on their order status, new product lines, and product satisfaction.Qualifications:· Entrepreneur mindset- You take full ownership of any fashion brand and treat the company as your own.· Creative sales mindset, you "think out of the box when it comes to approaching prospective clients, creating innovative sales strategies, ideas on how to get "word of mouth" marketing campaigns.· Able to work 9 am - 5 pm ET in office and have weekend availability.· College degree is desirable.· 5-10 years sales experience selling urban street or athletic or men's casual wear lines to large U.S. and international retail stores.· Must have experience working with retail buyers managing a book of clients and showrooms.· Experience launching a new urban street, athletic or men's casual wear including providing input in branding and marketing campaigns a plus.· Have sold $1 million plus in urban street, athletic or men's casual wear to major discount and luxury retailers for example Macys Backstage, Nordstrom Rack, Bloomindales Outlet, Neiman Marcus, etc.· Have created a 3-6-9-12-month sales plan that includes target clients, sales strategy and revenue goals.
