The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of FASB and PCAOB technical accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and other applicable standards. This role requires a deep understanding of complex accounting topics, including variable interest entities (VIEs), hypothetical liquidation at book value (HLBV), noncontrolling interests, asset retirement obligations (AROs), revenue recognition, leasing standards, and various forms of equity ownership. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and review of all technical accounting and SEC reporting. Lead research and implementation of new accounting standards issued by FASB and PCAOB. Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including VIEs, HLBV, noncontrolling interests, AROs, revenue recognition, and leasing standards. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. Provide technical accounting training and support to the accounting team. Lead special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role is required. Extensive knowledge of FASB and PCAOB standards, U.S. GAAP, and SEC reporting. Proven experience with VIEs, HLBV, noncontrolling interests, AROs, revenue recognition, and leasing standards. Proficiency in various forms of equity ownership accounting. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
