Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join a thriving Building and Construction firm with a robust project pipeline through 2026. This is a long-term role offering exciting opportunities across diverse project types, primarily Healthcare and Commercial Interiors Client Details Our client offers construction management, general contracting, and design/build services for projects across New York and New Jersey. With extensive expertise, the company has delivered award-winning results in diverse project types, including new building construction, interior renovations, and fit-outs in the commercial retail and healthcare space. Description The Construction Superintendent will manage day-to-day site operations for healthcare and commercial interior projects. Ensure projects, valued at $10M+, are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain seamless project execution. Enforce safety protocols and ensure all site activities comply with industry and regulatory standards. Conduct regular site meetings to track progress and address any issues proactively. Provide hands-on oversight during all phases of construction in NYC and local to Garden City, NY. Profile 5+ years of experience working in a Construction Superintendent role for a General Contractor (GC). Proven expertise in healthcare and commercial interior projects . Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades. Excellent understanding of construction processes, safety procedures, and quality control standards. Preference for candidates with experience at firms handling similar scopes of work. High school diploma or equivalent (required). Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred) OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (mandatory).
