As we expand, were seeking a Sales Engineer to blend strong sales skills with a curiosity for technology, helping us grow our client base while learning and sharing the technical solutions we provide.Position Overview:As a Sales Engineer, you will act as a bridge between GEODNET's innovative technology and our customers. Your role is to drive sales by engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and explaining how GEODNET can provide solutions to their challenges. You'll collaborate closely with both our sales and engineering teams, learning the technical details of our product and presenting these solutions in a customer-friendly way. This position requires an outgoing, proactive person who is eager to learn, solve problems, and build strong relationships with potential customers.If you have a strong interest in technology and sales, and enjoy explaining complex products in an understandable and compelling way, this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities:Engage customers through online presentations and in-person meetings to introduce GEODNET RTK Services.Attend industry tradeshows and represent GEODNET, connecting with prospective clients.Use tools like LinkedIn and other platforms to prospect new leads.Demonstrate GEODNET in action, answering customer questions, addressing concerns, and offering basic training on GEODNET's API.Analyze customer needs and craft tailored proposals that showcase how GEODNET solutions can meet their unique challenges.Prepare quotes and follow up with customers regularly, ensuring they stay informed throughout the sales process (via HubSpot).Maintain sales forecasts and track regional market opportunities in HubSpot.Consolidate leads from online ads, tradeshows, and outreach into HubSpot for ongoing follow-up.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering or a related field, but a sales-focused background is also welcome).A passion for technology and eagerness to learn about GNSS, robotics, and autonomous systems.Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Willingness to travel up to 33%, including international travel, for client meetings and events.Sales experience is a plus"”whether in technology, engineering, or another technical field, we value your ability to connect with clients and close deals.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with sales methodologies, such as solution selling or consultative selling.Exposure to HubSpot or CRM tools.Interest or experience with robotics, IoT, or autonomous systems.Basic technical knowledge or curiosity about products in the GNSS, robotics, or AI space.Why Join GEODNET?Shape the future of autonomous systems and cutting-edge technologies in a rapidly growing industry.Collaborate with a dynamic, tech-focused team where youll have opportunities to learn and grow professionally.Enjoy competitive compensation with opportunities for career development and learning.33% travel to meet clients, represent GEODNET at events, and engage with customers directly.Work onsite in our Santa Clara office, with a collaborative and supportive team.
