Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through completion. Support the Project Manager in planning and organizing project activities, including scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance. Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Track project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs (requests for information), and submittals. Assist with the preparation of project budgets, forecasts, and progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients. Monitor safety compliance on job sites and work closely with the safety team to ensure adherence to all safety protocols. Assist in resolving on-site issues or conflicts, including working with field teams and subcontractors to identify and implement solutions. Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks and delays. Support project closeout procedures, including punch lists, final inspections, and client turnover. Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes. Profile Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction or project management (internships or assistant roles are acceptable). Strong knowledge of construction processes, schedules, and budgeting. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
