Position OverviewNexus Power seeks an OEM Account Manager for our growing electrical manufacturer's representative agency. The position requires a strong independent, customer focused sales rep, with the ability to listen to customer needs, provide technical guidance and is detailed oriented.Successful Account Manger **•Self -directed•Strong teamwork skills•Ability to multi-task•Create and manage key channel and end user relationships•Create and manage vendor relationships•Identify and execute a growth strategy within product segments and vertical marketsResponsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited *•Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned Distributors, OEMs, Panel Builders, and end users, at all levels of their organizations•Report sales progress/status to the Sales Director•Conduct technical presentations to create preference•Perform take-offs from project plans/specifications/schematics, assist with product selection, and negotiate/ secure orders•Provide training, joint sales calls and application support.•Own customer relationshipsMinimum Qualifications•Ability to work effectively in a team environment•Excellent communication skills•Enthusiasm for solving problems•Multitask with excellent attention to detail and follow up•Able to learn and adapt quickly•Growth minded•Accountable to sales goals•Possess a valid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications•Electrical industry experience•Local market knowledge of key channel partners/end users•Prior sales experience, account management, sales management and demonstrated market growth•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.•Excels at negotiating, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working under pressure•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and familiarity with electronic take-off and estimating programs strongly preferred.**** 401k with Company matchHealth and Dental InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term disability Expense Account Car Allowance *****Competitive Annual Salary Annual Bonus Program based on performance
