A career at Marsden means a career with a Company that will support your growth.Position SummaryAs an Account Manager in the Stadiums Division, you will report to the Director of Stadium Operations and will oversee a key Marsden Central stadiums account. The Account Manager will execute a high level of customer care, ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the facility and successfully managing high profile college and professional sports and onsite events. The Account Manager directs the activities and will oversee the training and development of the team, providing a safe and respectful work environment for all.Key Responsibilities• Conducts daily building inspections to maintain a quality level that meets the customer's and the Company's standards.• Manages all associate-related matters including time and pay, training, safety, discipline, performance appraisals, damage or theft complaints, etc.• Completes all documentation to include personnel action forms, verbal or written warnings, first report of injury, incident report, attendance verification, opening requisitions, etc.• Knows and understands the budget for labor, supplies, and equipment of the facility. Reports adjustments in vacancies and other items affecting the budgets. Must be able to operate within a changing budget environment. Demonstrates ability to interpret and manage the annual budget review process for the facility.• Maintains an inventory of cleaning products and supplies and ensures cleaning equipment is accurately inventoried and in safe working order.• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the facility.• Manage 6 direct reports, and Agency and Volunteer Event staff of up to 12 employees.• Schedule employees so that all shifts are filled at least two weeks in advance.• Meets with the Customer and their special event team on a weekly basis and corrects any deficiencies within 24 hoursSkills and Qualifications• Must have a coaching mindset and be a champion of your team• Clearly and effectively formulate directions for others, effectively conveying expectations and what success looks like• Build authentic relationships within the organization, with customers, and with the community• Strong employee and client focus• Clearly demonstrates sound decision making, and creative problem-solving skills• Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to organizational values• Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, with strong ability to make decisions• Proficient written and verbal English communication• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesEducation and Experience• Minimum 3 years of janitorial, events management, stadium facility service, or similar service-based related experience• Must have experience managing front line service industry employees• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals• Previous budgeting and/or P&L experience preferred• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are requiredPosition Schedule• Hours are 7pm-3am Sunday through Thursday (Friday and Saturdays off), but can vary depending on team and event schedulesPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects and tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb, stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
