Speed Route LLC ("SPDR"), a U.S. broker dealer, located in Jersey City, NJ, routes orders to approximately 40 exchange and non-exchange market venues, on behalf of a large network of broker dealer clients. To help support and grow SPDR's routing business, the company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior U.S. Equities Salesperson to join our team. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of U.S. equity markets, demonstrated experience in principal trading and/or market-making activities, and the requisite FINRA licenses (Series 7, 55 or 57, and Series 24). The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to build and maintain strong client relationships, execute sales strategies, and contribute to the overall success of SPDR's equities trading operations. Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with SPDR's existing clientele. o Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing market insights, trade ideas, and execution solutions tailored to their needs. Sales and Trading Execution and Principal Trading: Facilitate client trades in U.S. equities, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with SPDR's trading and research teams to develop and enhance our principal trading activities. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trading and sales activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies. Work with the Chief Compliance Officer and in-house compliance officers to ensure that all trading activity is conducted in accordance with all relevant rules and guidelines. Market Analysis and Insights: Communicate actionable market insights and strategies to clients. Communicate actionable market insights and strategies to SPDR's algorithmic trading developers. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand the firm's client base. o Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share in U.S. equities. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Contribute to the strategic direction of the equities sales and trading team.Qualifications:Licensing: Active FINRA Series 7, Series 55 or 57, and Series 24 licenses are required. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in U.S. equities sales, trading, principal trading activity, and/or market-making. Technical Skills: Proficiency in trading platforms, market analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with algorithmic trading and electronic platforms is a plus. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Analytical Ability: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of equity market dynamics and trading strategies. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
