JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for achieving branch strategic and financial objectives by establishing and overseeing efficient closing/settlement processes, developing internal and external customer relationships, preparing and maintaining branch budgets, and managing and developing branch staff.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure daily branch operations are conducted in accordance with operations standardsEstablish and monitor processes for accurate and timely processing of title, scheduling, closing preparation, closing, and post-closingCoordinate with business partners to ensure smooth transitions and support between land, construction, sales, accounting, and mortgageEnsure quality customer service and monitor/respond to the company's customer service management systemReview and respond to monthly quality and accounting auditsEnsure proper handling of all funds and closingsPrepare and adhere to departmental budgets with a focus on expense reduction and maximizing revenueMarket the value of services to customers, realtors, and other lendersCollaborate as a team member in allocating and coordinating the workflowMaintain thorough and current knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and proceduresStay informed about competitors' products, services, and costsPromote branch participation in division/community events and align with company values and cultureEnsure that all security procedures are followed, the branch is operationally sound, and satisfactory audits are achievedIdentify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring ongoing compliance with proceduresOther duties as assignedMANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: COACHING & FEEDBACK:For Direct Reports:Ensure appropriate staffing to meet department needsUtilize recruiting and selection tools/processes to build organizational talentDelegate work based on employees' abilities and skillsEvaluate employee performance and plan compensation actions accordinglyProvide developmental opportunities through internal and external trainingOffer continuous coaching on functional, leadership, technical skills, and behaviorsMaintain staff schedules for adequate coverage at all timesFacilitate regular employee meetings to discuss goals, company information, and operational issuesSupervise, coach, and develop staff regarding service expectations, policies, procedures, products, systems, and transactionsREQUIRED EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferredNotary Public requiredEscrow Officer license requiredREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Minimum 3-5 years of escrow operations experienceAt least 2 years in a supervisory roleSpecialized in RESPA with an understanding of underwriting guidelinesKnowledge of title and settlement rules and regulationsStrong communication, presentation, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a multi-location team environmentAbility to prioritize conflicting demands and meet department needs with available resourcesProficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, OneNote; experience with SoftPro is a plusLoyal: Shows firm and constant support to a causeTeam Player: Works well as part of a groupFunctional Expert: Recognized as a thought leader in the fieldSelf-Starter: Motivated to act without outside assistanceGoal-Oriented: Driven by the successful completion of objectivesAbility to resolve complex problems and execute complex transactions as needed
