Principal or Senior Sales ConsultantOur client, a prominent player in the SaaS/Software industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Presales Solution Consultant to join their team. In this hybrid role, youll work closely with the sales team to support customer acquisition and revenue growth, leveraging your deep domain expertise in accounting and financial applications. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with C-level Finance and IT leaders, providing tailored solutions and driving success in the sales process. The role is based in the Bay Area, with a flexible hybrid schedule (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in-office) to accommodate personal responsibilities and traffic.ResponsibilitiesSupport the sales team as the technical bridge between the field and clients.Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling value propositions, aligning client needs with the companys solution differentiation.Lead business and technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs, identify complexities, and develop solutions.Work closely with product management, engineering, and services teams to provide client feedback and influence the product roadmap.Design and deliver tailored solutions to client challenges through presentations, process flows, diagrams, and demos.Lead responses to RFPs/RFIs, creating solution summaries that align product capabilities with customer goals.Deliver engaging demonstrations of solutions to showcase value and meet customer expectations.Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, positioning yourself as a credible advisor.Articulate and emphasize the companys unique value proposition over legacy ERP systems.RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.7+ years of hands-on ERP experience, with at least 3 years in one or more of the ***** NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday.Subject Matter Expert in Finance Administration and Accounting, particularly in revenue.Experience in corporate accounting or finance roles is a plus.Experience implementing ERP systems for customers with subscription and/or consumption models in the SaaS/Software industry.Enthusiastic about new technology and its transformational capabilities.Ability to work productively in a globally distributed team with strong self-discipline and motivation.Located in the Bay Area.**Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individuals skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range ** $170k - $210k per year.
