The US East Coast Sales Manager will be responsible to provide a sustainable business growth to the company in the US market, by satisfying customer's needs and requests, by identifying new targets and business opportunities.Based in the US and reporting directly to the US Sales VP, the candidate will work collaboratively with the Headquarters departments in particuar closely with one or more Project Managers and will be accountable for the following:Client interactions, managing regular standing meetings and visits to key clientsFostering and maintaining a good working relation with clientsPresenting collections and/or products that are targeted to the customer's need with the support of Strategic Markting teams or in autonomyObtaining briefs from clients and selecting formulations that match the associated briefIssuing initial price offer in the designated template to the clientNegotiating price for all new projects as well as open annual review on existing productsNegociating contracts with the support of Legal departmentIdentifying business opportunities; determining success rate as well as potential sales revenueHaving a deep knowledge of the industry, assigned market / territory:- Awareness of the sales trends related to not only products however numbers- Knowledge of top selling launches from the assigned market / territory & clients- Identify white space within client portfolioProviding concrete action plan to manager on how to achieve targetsWeekly updates on assigned pipelineInitiating and managing contracts with appropriate cross-functional team as needed (NDA, terms, etc)Working closely with cross-functional teams related to products, potential interests and industry data (Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Legal, Finance)Defining budget & strategy for the given customersSetting priorities with designated PM as well as cross-functional teamsTravelling for 50%-70% of the working time depending on assigned territorySkills required:Bachelor Degree preferably in Economics, or any other disciplineAt least five year experience in a similar role and preferably in the cosmetic industryFluent in English: knowledge of French language or a second foreign language is a plusIT knowledge: strong knowledge of the Office package and main IT systemsEffective interpersonal skillsCustomer oriented attitudeExcellent communication skillsExcellent negotiation and influencing skillsStrong commercial / sales acumenEffective workload planning, respect of deadlines, ability to define priorities and manage stress in a very dynamic environmentGood problem solving and ability to find out solutionsGood analytical skills and ability to gather information when this is poor or lackingPeople management and people development skillsDelegation and objective settingSelf-motivation and great sense of responsibility and confidentiality, personal integrity and ethics, tact and diplomacyAvailability to travel frequently including intercontinental travellingSalary range: 120.000/150.000 $
