Technical Sales Assistant

The TechnicalSales Assistant is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service for both internal and external customers in a sales-related function.ResponsibilitiesSupport Field Sales Representatives, customers, and distributors within defined territory.Create and share technical proposals and quotations.Facilitate the value-added solutions quotation process.Act as project management support for complex sales opportunities both with external partners (customers, distributors) and internal support organizations (Engineering, Product Management, Operations, etc.)Temporarily provide customer support in the event of a gap of coverage in the Field Sales organization.Assist customers directly with technical information, recommending substitutions, and addressing application questions.If needed, manage customer portal administration.Coordinate with Finance & Operations to ensure completion of customer documentation requests.Other duties as assigned.Experience RequiredPrevious sales experience, preferably in an industrial settingProven technical aptitude in electrical productsStrong communication, organizational and time management skillsAbility to embrace change and be successful in a dynamic environmentEffective time management and organizational skillsPreferredBachelor's degree in business, industrial distribution, or related degreeTPC Wire & Cable is an EO ***** Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
