As a National Account Executive for Mariner Logistics, you will build your own book of business while handling your customers transportation needs. Theres no secret to our success; we invest in our employees and our technology while delivering the best customer service in the business.Position ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers to ensure smooth transportation of goodsManage a portfolio of clients, focusing on fostering long-term relationshipsBooking, dispatching, tracking, and tracing all trucks on loads Use our CRM to identify, call and prospect core and strategic customer opportunitiesUnderstanding customers business supply chain goals and providing tailored solutionsEffectively executing sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectationsWork closely with other internal departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experienceNegotiate Rates and contracts with carriers to secure cost-effective shipping solutionsCollaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain processes and improve efficiencyStay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunitiesFacilitate periodic business reviews to ensure alignment of customers KPI and propose process improvement solutionsWin trust and build credibility as a trusted advisor to all customer stakeholdersPosition RequirementsCollege degree preferred, or equivalent experience in similar roles2+ years of Cradle to Grave experience in the logistics industryDetermination to work hard and be a self-starterStrong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflictAbility to leverage new technologies effectivelyAn obsession for great customer serviceAbility to synthesize analysis and sales informationPay includes base salary+ commission. Our top performers can earn up to $150,00 - 200,000 per year!
