As Mississippis largest privately held employer headquartered within the state, the company employs over 4,000 team members, generates over $1 billion in revenue, and consists of 4 main corporate divisions: Howard Power Solutions, Howard Lighting, Howard Transportation, and Howard Technology Solutions.Job Overview:The Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the manufacturer's representative sales force in his or her assigned region, including the following tasks:Recommending manufacturer's representative organizations to be selected to represent Howard IndustriesTracking and assessing performanceLiaison between manufacturer's representatives and other departments within Howard IndustriesInside support of manufacturer's representatives for marketing and sales initiativesJoint participation with manufacturer's representatives in various customer support activities, such as customer visits, presentations, entertainment, etc.Responsibilities:Represent the company at industry meetings and expositionsHost customers and manufacturer's representatives who visit the factorySupervisory responsibility for the inside sales organization assigned to his or her regionReport directly to the Vice President of MarketingProvide liaison between customers and manufacturer's representatives, and all departments within Howard IndustriesExpect to travel at least 50% of the time to visit customers in his or her assigned regionMaintain and grow the account base through proper balance of maintenance and prospecting through in-person visits, phone calls, emails, etc.Renew relationships with past customers to drive future businessEstablish and expand relationships with key executives and decision makersClose sales and overcome customer objectionsWork with customers to understand their business issues and provide solutions to meet their needs (consultative selling)Process quotes and special price requests using the company's systems and pricing policyProvide competitive review to update our features that will enhance our customer retention and satisfactionFollow up on customers' requests for assistance in order to establish a high standard of serviceIncorporate company marketing efforts in the selling process so that customers experience a coherent corporate messageSkills/ Qualifications: Outside Sales or Marketing ExperienceMust be able to call on and develop relationships with customersCorporate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, official e-mailing, and computer skills, etc.Presentable, courteous and pleasant personalityExhibit a sense of urgencyHardworking, sincere, honest, dedicated and self-achieverManage time effectively and profitabilityBenefits for Eligible Employees: Health InsuranceDental Insurance401KPaid VacationHoliday PayTuition Reimbursement +Equal Opportunity Employer Vet/Disabled
