About *****At Boldr we are on a mission to eliminate fossil fuels from the energy grid. To do this we are building the largest residential power plant in the US that will provide peak capacity to the grid at a moments notice. Our beachhead is in connecting and controlling residential HVAC systems through partnerships with HVAC installers. Our team is made up of repeat founders, engineers, and experienced operators. We are on a mission to connect 1M homes in the next 4 years and build the largest distribution network through HVAC contractors. Having successfully launched in the US we are now ready to establish Boldr as an industry and household name. To do this we are looking for an ambitious sales leader with a strong knowledge of the residential HVAC market to join us in reaching our mission. This is an opportunity to work directly with the exec team and be a key player in realizing the vision of the company. ResponsibilitiesWork with the leadership team to establish an 18-month growth plan to deliver againstInput into sales KPIs and go-to-market playbookOwn the GTM process for acquiring and converting leads in California and beyondBuild, deliver, and coach a product training processHire and mentor a high-performance sales teamOwn Sales Metrics & Reporting for the B2B Sales teamWork closely with COO and Head of Marketing on iterating and improving the GTM processFeedback to the product team for improvements and help shape the productRequirementsExperience selling physical products into the HVAC market - with software sales as a bonusAbility to create simple training processes for hardware and softwareKnowledge of the residential HVAC space or distribution in the HVAC spacePrevious management experience and proven ability to build high-performance teamsTrack record of exceeding sales goals and metricsManaging deal flow from lead generation to closing using CRMBonus Skills and About YouPassionate about building a company and pride in the sales processes you createAbility to work independently and without day-to-day guidanceDeep knowledge of either the residential HVAC market or the Manufacturer Sales Representative Market with industry contactsClear communicator and the ability to formulate an argument based on data We are primarily looking for candidates living in California or who are happy to relocate to California.
