Location: Lakewood, Colorado Schedule: Monday - Friday (Hybrid or Remote Options) Compensation: $45-$55/hr based on experience Type: Contract Start date: ASAP Responsibilities: Lead and execute strategic sourcing strategies to enhance supplier quality, cost efficiency, service levels, delivery, pricing, and compliance. Develop and implement RFIs/RFPs, manage supplier selection processes, and conduct supplier negotiations with cross-functional teams. Identify industry trends and streamline processes by researching best practices and category insights. Drive category-based negotiation strategies and manage supplier risks with stakeholder alignment. Utilize spend data to identify sourcing opportunities and develop sub-category plans. Monitor category performance, ensuring savings goals and balanced spend portfolios. Build strong relationships across the company and drive supplier performance improvements. Prepare ROI-based business cases and secure approvals for cost-saving proposals. Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and procurement policies. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in procurement or category management within a large, multinational company. Proven expertise in managing spend categories, including marketing, sales, and professional services. Skilled in leading RFx processes, supplier management, and category ownership. Strong understanding of sourcing and category management concepts, contracts, and contract management. Ability to analyze financial data and develop data-driven category strategies. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment. M3
