Located in Hillsboro, OR Salary: $20.00 / hour Warehouse/Forklift Operator Swing Shift: Monday - Thursday, 1:30 pm - 12:00 am Pay: $20.00 / hour Hillsboro, OR hill1940 Essential Job Functions: This position is responsible to support and uphold all HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense regulations and other programs by aiding when assigned. This position also supports our Gluten Free, QAI Organic, and Kosher programs. It also Follows and models all company policies including GMPs Unloads trucks at North Dock, Receives raw material and packaging items into manufacturing plant. Examines all received raw materials and delivered goods. Has knowledge of how to enter data into Company ERP system; can train others if needed. Responsible for all lot tracking of inventory items from receipt of raw materials to mixing of raw materials into formulas, and packaging of formulas into finished goods. Work with Line Operators and Mixers to supply production lines as needed throughout the shift. Provide and put away ingredients to/from Mixing Department by assuring supply is staged in proper lot order for mixers. Participates in all Inventory Counts and Warehouse department projects as directed. Cycle counting process - running inventory by lot and fills out counting sheets by item Drives forklift truck within safety guidelines to convey materials and products to and from receiving areas to storage shelves and other designated areas, including delivery trucks. Fills out necessary paperwork and files records correctly Reviews Daily Production Schedules to ensure ingredients/sub formulas are available and staged for each item by lot for the next day and coming week Pulls recipes , stickers and lot track sheet for the next days production Be fully trained in Essential Job Functions of Shipping Department. (Swing shift position will require operation of water room process.) Non-Essential Job Functions: Attends trainings as necessary for warehouse. Ability to drive to and work at off-site warehouse to organize, count, and receive items. Maintains the cleanliness, organization, and integrity of warehouse and Participates in the cleaning of cold food storage/coolers. Keeps storage areas (racks, cooler, freezer, offsite warehouse) clean, organized, and in proper locations based on organic and Allergen requirements. Communicates with other departments as necessary to ensure Warehouse Efficiency Assists in production if needed Works with Warehouse managers to process any returns to manufacterer Runs frozen item report daily - stages the thawing of frozen ingredients and re-mix/sub formulas Makes inventory adjustments and assures all stores are properly tagged. Posts all lot tracking for raw materials, formulas and finished goods. Analyzes inventory flow to assure lot tracking procedures are followed. . Makes any necessary inventory adjustments required to keep lot information correct for raw materials and formulas Post all production in ERP / NAV per procedures / SOP. Conduct weekly inventory review and stage transfers needed between warehouses (offsite). Assist in handling of excess barrels for private sale. Greenspace Transfers - understands how to set up transfers and record them properly in NAV Reading daily and weekly schedules in NAV and teams in order to plan daily activities Qualifications: The following capabilities are required in order to perform the essential functions of this position. Assists with updates of SOP documents Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel and MS Word, or similar software Proficient Mathematical and communication skills Ability to work independently or as a team; able to take initiative during any down time Current Drivers License required; Fork Lift license preferred Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
