Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 12+ Months Contract Position Overview We are seeking a Design Verification Engineer to join our Network Security Hardware team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment. This role involves full product lifecycle ownership, from concept through production release, and requires hands-on expertise in networking product design and hardware engineering. Key Responsibilities Proactively drive tasks independently and escalate issues when necessary. Communicate needs clearly and effectively within cross-functional teams. Manage full product lifecycle ownership, from concept to production release. Utilize schematic capture and PCB layout tools to create and optimize designs. Conduct hands-on prototyping, design iterations, and power analysis using lab equipment. Provide on-site support at the factory during engineering builds and production. Required Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS). Technical Skills: Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools. Strong experience in prototyping and power analysis. Knowledge of Power over Ethernet (PoE) PSE design. Expertise in embedded CPU design, especially x86 and AMD platforms. Familiarity with networking product design, particularly for low-cost and ruggedized IP-rated products. Additional Skills: Networking and Ethernet expertise. Hands-on experience with OT, ruggedized product design, and embedded systems. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in low-cost and ruggedized product design. Strong understanding of embedded systems and power-efficient designs. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently
