Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking two Accounts Payable Associates for a reputable consulting client in the Richardson, TX area. As the Accounts Payable Associate, you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions, maintaining vendor relations, and ensuring seamless payment processing. Qualified candidates will have experience with credit card processing and reconciliations, invoice processing, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong performance in accounts payable roles. Requirements & Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Associate: Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. CAPS certification or work towards completion is a plus. 5+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience is required Credit card processing and reconciliation and expense report processing experience is required Strong analytical skills with the ability to run and review reports Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and vlookups required) Project accounting and subcontract invoice handling experience in the Architecture, Engineering or Construction (AEC) industry is ideal Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies. Maintains confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information. Deltek software is a plus. Compensation for the Accounts Payable Associate: Employment type: Direct hire Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm Salary/Pay: $60-70K/year (+/- based on experience) Location: On-site in Richardson, TX for first 6 months then possibility for hybrid schedule Benefits: Offered through CornerStone while on contract.
