Senior Solutions Architect

Job Duties: Consult with potential customers to determine the role of information technology (IT) systems in their organization, reviewing their business and technology goals and objectives, and review Elasticsearchs computer systems products to provide in-depth analysis and advice on which of our companys products and services will best address those needs. Conduct cost/benefit analysis for Elasticsearch products and create and own value-based relationships at all levels in customer organizations in order to recommend added efficiency and functionality. Serve as a critical contributor in all phases of software planning and execution for the territory, from initial discovery to closing the contract. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Elastic products and systems solutions to demonstrate the value of our offerings in sales meetings, and at events such as meetups and conferences. Advise the sales team on effective ways of positioning Elastic products, solutions and services. Perform onboarding, educating and enabling our partners, and supporting them in sales cycles. Create collateral, contribute to programs and collaborate with other Elasticians to meet individual client needs. Oversee and help with configuration or improvement of Elastic software systems, serving as the voice of the customer and community to communicate needs, gaps, and enhancements to our engineering and leadership teams. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in any subject area (or foreign equivalent), plus five (5) years of experience in job offered, Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or related occupation. Special Requirements: Academic training or experience must include the following skills: Previous technical presales role. Experience in customer relations with a technology company. Experience with Cloud platforms, such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform Experience with API management nad programming languages such as Python Experience with Relational & Non-Relational Databases (MySQL and/or MongoDB) Required travel 30% within region, as well as occasional international travel.
