Were ready to help you achieve more.Purpose:The Corporate Development group evaluates and executes on large-scale, strategic transactions, generally taking the form of whole company acquisitions, block reinsurance, or strategic investments and partnerships. Transaction activity spans across Athene and Apollos global insurance footprint in the US, Europe, and Asia. The Corporate Development Group has been a significant contributor to Athenes historical outsized growth and performance. The successful candidate will possess intellectual curiosity and strong quantitative, project management, and written and verbal communication skills.Accountabilities:Participate in all aspects of a transaction lifecycle, including structuring, valuation, and diligencePrepare valuation and other investment analysis supporting transaction activityDevelop presentation materials to facilitate internal transaction approval, pipeline review and other governance processesCollaborate with other business units on all aspects of transaction execution and develop relationships and knowledge of other parts of the organization including finance, treasury and legalStay abreast of capital market and insurance industry activities and trends; monitor global developments in insurance regulatory, accounting and capital standardsQualifications and Experience:Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance or related field2+ years of experience in investment banking, financial services or insurance sectorStrong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage several projectsDemonstrated leadership qualities, intellectual curiosity, and strong initiativeStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExhibit dedication to completing tasks thoroughly and on time, including under time pressures, and outside normal working hoursMaintain appropriate levels of confidentialityAbility to view "big picture", understand broad corporate impacts, and focus on company objectives$123,216.00 - $184,824.00 USD AnnualAnnual Salary for this role is market competitive. Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
