DescriptionDevelop and implement BIM protocols and design technology standards for the firmDevelop the technical documentation of existing and new workflows and modeling techniquesCreate presentations, training, and workflow guidelines and periodically lead training sessionsPromote tools that increase efficiency in the project delivery processResearch new/emerging software solutions for application in design and productionChampion software solutions within architecture practiceEnsure project BIM execution plan creation, adherence, and successParticipate and contribute to BIM Technology Team and BIM Automation Team meetingsProvide BIM support and technical assistance to team membersCoordinate with firm knowledge resource groups to align developed software solutions with architectural practiceDevelop software solutions to improve routine design, modeling, and documentation tasksAdvise on standards development so operational processes support or facilitate automationBuild and identify software solutions focused on elevating architectural design and practiceMaintain and develop solutions internally for compatibility with multiple versions of RevitMake public presentationsBe a thought leaderRequirements 8+ years experience in the AEC industry with at least 4 years experience in BIM (Revit) ManagementBachelors degree in architecture, architectural technology, computer science, engineering, or related field.Expert knowledge of Autodesk RevitExtensive knowledge of BIM 360/Autodesk Construction CloudExtensive knowledge of BIM practices, standards, and techniquesWorking knowledge of additional design applications such as Bluebeam, NavisWorks, Dynamo, FormIt, Autodesk Platform Services, InfraWorks, Rhino, and energy modeling softwareFamiliarity with building/life safety/local codes, building specifications, and construction means/methodsFamiliarity with SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft SuiteThorough knowledge of typical AEC processes, relevant codes, operations, processes, and trendsExcellent time management, organizational, and written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsAbility to implement new software and train staff on efficienceProficiency with IMAGINiT Clarity, Unifi, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, and Ideate software a plusProficiency in Python, C#, Grasshopper, Dynamo, and Revit API a plusAbility to train teams in relevant workflows and software packages and clearly articulate advanced concepts that team members of all levels can understandLearn quickly and experiment or troubleshoot to find new solutionProgressive ability, capacity, and aptitude in administration to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work and to obtain cooperation from othersEffective manager of people with the ability to inspire, lead, communicate, support, and mentorWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; balance, stop, kneel, or crouch; speak or listen.
