Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.Position Summary: FT 40 hours days, Inventory SpecialistQualifications: Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Key CompetenciesMaintains appropriate supply and inventory levels, while maintaining reasonable inventory cost level and turns.Maintains appropriate supply and inventory levels, while minimizing stock outs to departments.Works with departments to facilitate requests for products or services.Works with the corporate supply chain office to see that the Meditech item file data is consistent, accurate and current.Recommends changes to item descriptions in the item file to assure locating ease for novice Meditech users.Assist in maintaining, preparation, and counting of physical municates all back orders or stock problems to customer on a timely basis.Works with primary distributor on a daily basis.Develops requested reports accurately and on a timely basis.Monitors backorder reports generated by main distributor, as well as through Meditech systems to assure that stockouts are minimized.Responsible for controlling and coordinating the issuance of stock through HF Stores and par levels.Validates inventory stock levels to assure accuracy with the Meditech system.Responsible for checking and maintaining outdates in Storerooms.
