Over years of technological advances, we developed Omnipod®, a line of tubeless, wearable, Pod-based insulin management systems.Position OverviewAs an Omnipod Associate, youll play a pivotal role in driving our patient-centric mission forward by creating a culture of collaboration aimed at simplifying life for people managing their diabetes.In this role, youll be responsible for more than just meeting sales targets - youll be the key point of contact for patients throughout the onboarding process, ensuring they have a seamless experience starting with the OmniPod system. Youll collaborate closely with field sales and internal teams to deliver the best patient experience, communicate insurance benefit guidelines and cost information, and assist patients in making informed decisions about insulin pump therapy.Were looking for:A sales-driven professional with a strong track record of accomplishmentsA customer-focused individual with outstanding interpersonal skills who ensures a positive, professional patient experience while consistently closing salesA strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving skillsA proven collaborator who works effectively with both internal and external stakeholdersResponsibilitiesManage Your PipelineDeploy a high level of customer service throughout the patient onboarding process, leading the patient from prescription to activating and registering the customers Omnipod deviceTrack patient progress in the pipeline funnel and actively document actions taken or neededAnalyze data insights and trends to effectively prioritize pipeline leads to drive business impactTake ownership in investigating data discrepancies or issues and work to resolve, involving appropriate stakeholdersEngage Your CustomersLeverage comprehensive product knowledge to address customer inquiries about Omnipod, highlighting its benefits and providing competitive comparisonsTailor communications that proactively address patient needs by taking a consultative approach to selling to drive patient adoption and support overall business objectivesProactively address challenges or patient concerns using data-driven solutions and identify opportunities to improve patient interactionsCollaborate for ImpactCollaborate seamlessly with reimbursement and field sales in your territory to ensure patient leads progress after prescription has been fulfilledEffectively manage communications with pharmacy representatives to ensure patients appropriately receive Omnipod and data is accurately aligned across teamsProvide support to territory partners (Territory Managers and Clinical Services Managers) for resolving provider or patient issuesContribute to ImprovementsContinuously seek opportunities for process improvement and provide regular feedback and innovative suggestions to enhance Inside Sales and service operationsDrive internal initiatives as identified and assigned by leadershipEducation and ExperienceBachelors degree (strongly preferred) with 0-1 years of sales experience and demonstrated success in B2B / B2C or a related field (healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical device, diabetes, or consumer product); Associate degree (minimally required)Knowledge and understanding of the managed care industry (preferred)Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system (preferred)Skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong influencing, listening, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage a sales pipeline to effectively funnel leads through a short-term sales cycle with speed, consistent communication, and forecast precisionStrong collaborator with the ability to build and nurture relationshipsTeam-oriented to produce optimal sales resultsAbility to solve problems, take appropriate action, and persistently address obstacles or challenges to deliver successful outcomesProficiency with technology (CRM systems, MS Office applications)Knowledge of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors) preferredPhysical Requirements (if applicable)The ability to work overtime to meet business objectives is requiredRequires sitting and standing associated with a normal remote or hybrid office environmentManual dexterity needed for using a computer keyboardLightweight lifting may be requiredMinimal business travel as neededReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsIf youre ready to be a part of a company thats changing the future of diabetes care, we want to hear from you. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
