We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience with a deep understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes. You will be responsible for all accounting needs for our organization, performing tasks traditionally carried out by both bookkeepers and accountants, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our accounting department and requires a proactive individual who can work independently while also collaborating with the team. If you have a passion for numbers, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy, wed love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable (invoicing, collections, customer payments).Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee Accounts Payable (vendor bills, payments, reconciliations).General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including month-end and year-end closings.Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.Payroll: Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.Financial Records/Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure timely reporting and reconcile bank and credit card accounts, ensuring accuracy in all financial documentation.Assist Audits: Assist with audits and work with external accountants during tax season.Financial Analysis:Provide financial analysis and support management with financial decision-making.Qualifications:Experience: A minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a similar role.Skills:Proven experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.Strong knowledge of general ledger functions, financial reporting, and bookkeeping principles.Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.Experience with payroll processing and tax filings is a plus.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in handling financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting best practices.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with team members and external parties.Ability to take ownership of projects and work with minimal supervision.Company Culture and Values:At TSL, we embody six core values: value-driven service, continuous learning and teaching, growth, unity, free-flowing information, and persistence.
