The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center - Business Office Manager Job Description Summary: The primary purpose of the Business Office Manager is the oversight of business office functions including resident business office files, , resident trust, billing as well with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. To follow all company policies and apply them uniformly to all employees as directed by your Administrator and/or the Administrators designee. In this role, you are delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Physical/Sensory Requirements: 1. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday 2. Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner. 3. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. 4. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met. 5. Must function independently and flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with resident personnel, families, staff, and support agencies. 6. Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical exam including drug screening as per facility guidelines. 7. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty pounds to a minimum height of four feet and be able to push, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of two feet. 8. May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations. Working Conditions: 1. Is subject to frequent interruptions. 2. Is involved with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances. 3. Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel, visitors, and vendors. 4. Is subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, bruising, scratches, and odors. 5. Is subject to exposure of infectious waste, diseases, and conditions. Job Functions: Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position.
