Description:The company is in search of an experienced full-time Bookkeeper to run and oversee all aspects of the administrative/accounting operation. Primary work will be performed in Coconut Creek, Florida. This position will take on a pivotal role in the companys continued growth and ability to meet ever-expanding requirements in disaster response. The candidate should be highly proficient with QuickBooks Online software, as well as other software to perform the following functions:Essential Responsibilities:Full Cycle Bookkeeping including all aspects of A/P, A/R, and PayrollProcessing all accounts payable transactions including bills, credit card charges, invoicing clients, ensuring accuracy of each bill and proper expense classificationAccurate posting and classification of daily receivable transactions and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all receivablesProcessing payroll using ADP for data entry, wage garnishments/loan repayments, and new-hire onboardingUtilizing Connecteam software to track staff hours, PTO/STO balances, and oversee expense reimbursementsTracking project key performance indicators (budget vs actual reporting, variance analysis, and profit margins)Meeting with Operations Managers regarding project expensesReconciling bank accounts and credit card accounts monthlyGeneral ledger and chart of accounts maintenanceProviding monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports to leadershipOverseeing quarterly tax payments to leadershipConducting insurance coverage auditsCoordinating with external CPA regarding year-end closingManaging company investment accounts and providing regular summaries to leadershipProviding ad-hoc reporting as necessaryPerforming other duties as necessarySkills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a related field with an academic background in finance, accounting, or business management10 years of experience in BookkeepingExcellent written and oral communication skills dealing with high-level customersExcellent problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with project/cost accountingStrong leadership and motivational skills in directing the financial teamExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel)Thorough knowledge of QuickBooks Online Advanced softwareGood organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailStrong Project Management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentAbout Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
