Responsible for inventory of the lot, moving and logging vehicles.DUTIES* Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Works closely with Sales Managers* Manage inventory usage with sales associates* Rotate inventory as needed* Ensure inventory is clean and showroom ready* Take pictures of vehicles to be listed on the internet* Places vehicle information invoice stickers in window for customers to view* Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.* Parks new vehicles in assigned areas.* Catalogs and stores keys.* Assigns stock control numbers to cars.* Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.* Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.* Services vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration.RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS* Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.REASONING ABILITY* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
