JOB SUMMARYThe State Director will oversee the start-up of services for the WA Cares Fund program. This position will manage a large team requiring strong people management skills and organizational leadership. Additionally, a proficiency in process management and mapping is crucial for overseeing and optimizing the multiple operational processes within the designated territory. Responsibilities include directing day-to-day operations to align with company goals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing processes for positive growth. It involves continuous provision of excellent service to clients, staff training, and improving program economic standing.JOB DUTIESLead the oversight of a complex service program, special projects, and process improvementsOversee large-scale enrollments and hiring activitiesConduct advanced reporting to demonstrate dependability and support decision-making processesPrioritize tasks efficiently, multitask effectively, and deliver excellent customer serviceDirect recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of employees to foster a high-performing teamOversee annual reviews, satisfaction surveys, program scorecards, dashboards, and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvementDemonstrate proficiency in public speaking and maintain effective communication with stakeholdersEnsure adherence to legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures for regulatory complianceRepresent the company at stakeholder meetings and eventsEnsure timely completion of projects, budgets, payroll, authorizations, and accounts receivable to maintain positive financial healthManage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databaseBilingual skills preferred in various locationsFoster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective service deliveryPerform other assigned dutiesTravel required 30-45% pending business needsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Sociology or Related Field with one-year experience working with individual(s) with disabilities or the elderly preferredFive (5) years proven people management experience requiredAbility to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirementsEmployees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid positionThe incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
