Yonkers works within all project delivery frameworks, including general contracting and design-build.About the Role: Yonkers Contracting is seeking an experienced Claims Administrator to join our team immediately. This role requires experience in general and auto liability, workers compensation, and property claims, and the administration of disability and Paid Family Leave claims. While construction industry experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.This is a full-time, in-office position reporting to the AVP of Insurance/Risk Management. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in Claims Management.Responsibilities:Responsible for the intake and processing of all assigned claims (general liability, auto, workers compensation, property, disability, paid family leave, and other related claims ("claims")Serve as the primary contact for the Insurance Department in reporting all accidentsResponsible for day-to-day contact with insurance companies and outside counsel for claimsAssemble documents and information relating to claims litigation discovery in coordination with the Legal DepartmentLiaison between Yonkers Contracting and claimants regarding eligibility and claim statusCoordinate claims handling, settlements, and return to work options with managementResponsible for status updates to appropriate internal employeesDevelop and distribute internal reports, tracking, and analyticsPrepare Loss Run Reports for claims filed by or against the CompanyPursue recovery of fundsCoordinate responses to third-party subpoenas relating to claims and employment issues in coordination with the Legal DepartmentAs needed, assist the Legal Department with discovery responses and related matters for other types of claimsOther duties as assignedMust meet requirements to work in the US (Form I-9)Required Skills:Must have knowledge of workers compensation, general liability, property, and automobile insurance regulations and have a general understanding of related litigationMust be able to read and interpret insurance documents and formsMust have good written, organizational, and follow-up skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft OfficePay range: Annual salary range: $125,000-$140,000 based on experience, training, and educationWork Environment and Physical RequirementsThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
