Kindly do not apply if you need a remote position at this time.Please read job description before applyingJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing company here in Parsippany, NJ! The Data Analyst will be responsible for providing data analytics and reporting solutions associated with the different facets of our business. The projects may range from bulk importing and manipulation of data to preparation and generation of reports, all with scalability in mind. The BI and Reporting team is responsible for the sourcing, processing, and distributing of data both internally and externally.Duties/Responsibilities:Standardize routine reports using Power BI and/or SQL.Develop new and existing reports in Power BI and/or Excel.Use Python or other tools to automate new and existing processes.Develop ETL processes and/or data lakes to support reporting process.Prepare clear and concise documentation of all work performed.Analyse clients performance and provide additional insights.Must be a self-starter and eager to learn.Follow established processes and recommend improvements.Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.Other duties will be at the discretion of management.Required Skills/Abilities:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field requiredMinimum of 4+ years of Data Analyst experience in a large corporate environmentMust be able to work fully on-siteExperience with Power BI is requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsMust be able to make clear and concise presentations to leadershipTechnical expertise using PostgreSQL, Pyhton or other relevant data manipulation toolsExcellent computer skills including strong Excel, Power Query and other MS softwareExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to thrive in a complex, dynamic environmentExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailCome join our growing team here in Parsippany!
