Acquisitions Associate

Bullpen, on behalf of our client, a residential investment firm located in New York, NY, is looking for an Acquisitions Associate to join their Acquisition and Asset Management team to support the growth of the firm's portfolio.This role is a new position on the team and best suits a self-starter, entrepreneurial person who can work within a small team, wearing many hats. The person who is hired in this position will have a direct impact on the success of the business and is eligible for an equity stake in the portfolio.Job DescriptionEvaluate new investment opportunitiesManage financial models for new acquisitionsSupport due diligence and transaction management for new acquisitionsDevelop and lead investment committee presentations for new investmentsSupport asset management of current portfolio through financial analysisOccasional travel to tour propertiesRequirementsMinimum 3-5 years of experience at an established real estate private equity firm, ideally with investment banking experience as wellExperience with residential, mobile home, RV park, or similar asset classesPrior leadership experience a plusBachelor degree with a concentration in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related fieldRequired 4 days per week in-office in New York City
