Role *As the Director of Planning for our Eyewear division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brand by developing and implementing strategic planning initiatives that align with our luxury positioning. This role requires a deep understanding of the fashion industry, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for creating seamless operational processes that enhance our product offerings. This role will also help drive financial performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting key business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, analysis, and strategy, preferably within the retail industry. Key *Directs and guides development of financial plans that align financial KPIs to support merchandise and assortment planning strategies.Inventory Management - Manage monthly receipts/OTBs to approved levels by analyzing buys and focus on optimal inventory turn, while taking into consideration the varying seasonal sales curves, budgets from brand, and receipt flow to hit both inventory and sales targets.Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform planning decisions.Drive allocation strategies, processes, and procedures to achieve the financial objectives of the company; update and improve as needed.Forecast by utilizing data-driven insights to create accurate sales forecasts, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.Partner with buying and sales teams on strategy, building targets, KPIs, mark down strategy, and optimizing sell through and forward inventory planning.**Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.7+ years of experience in planning, buying, and/or merchandising experience within the luxury fashion or retail sector. Wholesale and/or off-price experience is a preferred.Experience with financial planning, analysis and strategy is strongly preferred.Strong analytical and retail math skills with proficiency in planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
