In most cases, we'll learn much more by taking action on our hypothesis.🔍What we're looking for in a Product Designer:Designing from the ground up: You will establish the foundation for design at our company, owning the design process from end to end. Your work will set the tone for future designers, and you'll lead by example in a fast-paced, iterative environment.Multidisciplinary approach: You'll be involved in many aspects of the product, from UX research and wire-framing to visual design and user testing. We are looking for someone excited and capable of working in many areas and has a depth of expertise in a few.Embraces ambiguity: You will be working closely with the founders to solve big problems. You will need to be energized by unknowns and solve open-ended problems without clear boundaries or requirements.Product-driven mindset and strong user empathy: You will be excited to dive into the needs of the user and anticipate ways we can enhance our features and influence the product roadmap.Located near NYC or SF: We think in-person work creates a certain type of magic for early-stage startups, something hard to replicate in a fully remote environment. However, we respect the need for flexibility and space to focus. We aim to have people working together in the same physical location for about one week per month.👋About the FoundersCEO, Lizzie Matusov:I am an engineer-turned-entrepreneur who loves thinking about how humans work together to build powerful software. I previously built client applications and deployment pipelines at Red Hat, and wrote software to improve access to medical-grade genetic testing at Invitae. I have an MBA and MS in Engineering Sciences from Harvard.CTO, Joe Mukai:I have over 15 years of professional experience in building software with over a decade of work in engineering leadership. I was previously a co-founder/CTO of Proletariat, a Boston-based games studio, for almost 10 years until the company was acquired by Blizzard Entertainment in 2022. I have a passion for building healthy and high-functioning engineering teams and look forward to building a world-class team at Quotient and a product that can help thousands of teams worldwide.
