The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for assisting with the creation and preparation of analytical reports to support the Sourcing Department (Sourcing and Quality). This includes gathering and analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform decision-making processes. Additionally, the Sourcing Specialist must ensure that all reports are presented in a professional manner, adhering to established formatting and design standards to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. This individual will work with business partners, and subject matter experts to capture and create reports and implement technology solutions. They will be the liaison between Sourcing and IT to better enhance reporting capabilities/accuracy. This individual will be responsible for communicating data and findings to executives and cross functional partners. This role reports directly to Vendor Compliance. This position is located onsite at our Corporate Office in Boston Heights, OH.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare quarterly and annual reporting to provide insight into quality and packaging metrics, delivery performance, inspection results, etc. for the department and vendors.Work with team to create and maintain department analysis and reporting as needed.Develop reports that are clear, identify trends, and clearly show findings and action steps based on dataActs as a liaison between the IT department, Finance, and the business partners to develop functional solution design.Work closely with vendors and the EDI team/provider to ensure compliance requirements are met. Track and report on EDI compliance.Partner with various business units (e.g. Concierge, PD, Buying, DC, Planning, etc.) to capture meaningful data in order to drive process improvements.Communicate to ensure timely and effective problem resolution and go-forward action plan. Deliver business insights to business partners to support their strategic decision-making processes.Train business partners in the use of new business systems and tools to drive adoption and ensure effective utilization.Write and communicate data policy to ensure best practices are followed.Reads and understands job aids/work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute the overall objectives of reduced quality/packaging returns and improved customer satisfaction component flow requirements.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Bachelor's degree required in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.At least 2-5 years of experience in a business analyst role working with programs such as QLIK, PowerBI, DOMO, or a similar system.Working knowledge of different data languages.Ability to handle multi-projects (both reporting projects and required daily tasks) in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, creative, analytical & problem-solving.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience communication with executives and cross functional teamsStrong presentation skillsProven ability to deliver high-quality business insights and reports.Must be proficient in PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel, specifically in using functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.Must possess analytical skills and have the ability to learn new applications, including programming, query, and analysis tools.Must have strong organizational skills and be able to balance various tasks/projects while meeting agreed upon deadlines.Strategic thinker with strong problem identification and resolution skills, and the ability to drive concepts to realizationMust have a high level of ethics, integrity, judgment, and confidentiality.Arhaus is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
