Operations Manager - Position ** As the Operations Manager for a 3-shift manufacturing facility, you will oversee daily operations, driving productivity and ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with company goals. Metal stamping experience is essential to effectively lead in this role.Key *Lead real-time operations across shifts to meet safety, customer satisfaction, productivity, schedule, and environmental goals.Direct stamping and welding processes to ensure optimal safety, quality, and efficiency while maximizing profitability.Collaborate with Plant staff across departments to establish and achieve metrics in safety, quality, materials, and production schedules.Analyze reports in production, quality control, maintenance, and tooling to identify and resolve nonconformities, implementing corrective action plans as needed.Supervise a team, including Assembly Superintendents and Press Production Supervisors, fostering effective leadership and performance.Contribute as part of the Plant Management Team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.Success ****Bachelor's degree in business or 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership in an automotive environment; metal stamping experience is a must.8+ years as a Superintendent or Department Manager in automotive; stamping and welding assembly background strongly preferred.Strong understanding of plant departmental roles and collaboration to achieve production goals.Proven leadership skills with strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.Proficiency in MS Office and other business systems (ERP, HRIS).
