Today, we are looking for a few more talented and passionate people to join our crew - not for the money or the awesome location to live and work, but for the opportunity to change the world a little with us.Summary:We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail oriented and well-rounded Graphic Designer to support our Design team, working from conception to production with a strong sense of brand identity. Experience and performance include layout, packaging, print collateral and campaign support.The Designer must be able to articulately present their creative decision-making and take/apply direction given to them by team leaders. They must be a team player who collaborates cross-functionally to find the best solution possible for the business on any given project. While Designers are not solely responsible for managing their workload, they are expected to consistently communicate with Project Managers to ensure that their projects remain on schedule, on brand and on budget. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Concept, design and produce thorough brand and product visual communications with teamTech pack design experienceTake projects from concept to final execution on or before deadlineResponsible for maintaining global brand consistency across all visual communicationsUnderstand design and execution of brand environments including but not limited to: Print/outdoor, print collateral, digital, packaging and events.Illustrative ability to produce on brand assets based on direction and referenceBe knowledgeable of industry trends, social demographics and best practicesStrong understanding of brand strategy and formulasDetail oriented organization and filing within designated parametersBuild physical mock-ups of final files using appropriate substrates in various mediumsParticipate in meetings to discuss efficient linear strategic design production strategy of projects when necessaryEfficiently develop visual guides and inspiration for team discussion and presentations, including concept sketches, color composites, illustration and digital renders based on directionPerform research and intent for projects in various aspectsThorough and thoughtful, utilizing strong inspiration and reference material prior to executionProvide positive support as workflow dictates and is assignedHave knowledge/passion for brand design, iconography, typography, packaging, photography, color and layout Experience creating logos and iconographyVisually communicate detailed and formulaic concepts and graphic approachesPresent designs and concepts to leadership on a regular basisRequired Skills / Experience / Competencies:3-5 years of relevant experience in graphic designPossess a strong graphic design background, including having excellent understanding of color theory, light logic, typography, iconography, layout, fundamentals and compositionExtensive proficiency with Mac OSExtensive proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe PhotoshopMust be familiar with image compression, file correction, and optimization techniquesExperiencing in proofing, pre-flighting, preparing and press-checking files for productionMust understand brand strategyMust work well within a fast-paced environment, and keep your cool while juggling multiple projects Ability to work within provided structure, receive and execute direction with an attention to design fundamentals, brand structure and production schedulesMust have great verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and be an overall team playerOther duties as reasonably directedOther Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:Asana Project ManagementMicrosoft Office SuiteAdobe XDSketchArtificial Intelligence ExperienceOther duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assignedat any time with or without notice as assigned by the Manager.
