Senior Process Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Process Engineer for $130k for a client in Danbury, CT. This person will be responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves leading process improvement projects, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing best practices to achieve operational excellence. Must-haves -Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering- 5-10 years of professional experience as a Chemical EngineerWorking experience with fluid dynamics, heat transfers, process control, and unit operationsPlusses -Experience with AUTOCAD - developing new piping instrumentation, developing architectural layouts. Key *****Lead and manage process improvement projects from conception through implementation.Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.Develop and implement process control strategies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to drive process improvements.Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve process performance.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Mentor and train junior engineers and production staff on process improvement methodologies.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in process engineering.
