Senior Payroll Analyst

The Senior Payroll Analyst will coordinate payroll, maintain payroll records, and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.**Coordinate with payroll vendor to process employee payroll at a regular cadenceEnsure accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulationsMaintain payroll records and documentationHandle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issuesPrepare and submit payroll reports to managementStay up-to-date on payroll best practices and regulatory requirementsAssist with payroll-related projects and process improvementsCollaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operationsBe the point of contact and escalation person with our Payroll vendorManage the company payroll inbox and respond to requests, questions, and any other issues promptlyComplete/coordinate garnishment orders with payroll vendor**6-8 years of work experience, including multi-state payroll Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)Proven experience managing payroll systems with technical expertise (i.e., knowledge of taxation rules, wage codes, etc.)Experience handling payroll for salaried and hourly employeesHigh attention to detail and ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulationsProficiency in payroll software (SAP, Employee Central/Employee Central Payroll) and MS ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationExperience processing equity awards Strong organizational and time management skillsKnowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirementsAbility to collaborate cross-functionallyProven track record of problem-solvingMotivated and driven to grow within the organization
