Responsibilities:The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) of Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking highly motivated, successful candidates with investment banking (or related) experience for an Analyst, FIG position in New York. The Investment Banking Group of Cantor Fitzgerald offers Analysts the exceptional opportunity to work on small client teams with direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Analysts play an essential role in developing and managing our client relationships. Our Analysts are an integral part of our client teams, taking an active role in developing, structuring and executing a broad range of advisory assignments and financial transactions for our clients.Coordination of various processes, including capital raises and advisory transactionsPreparation of offering memoranda, proposals, and other written materials for meetings with clientsPerform research and various analyses in support of new business generationOrganize and participate in marketing and client meetingsLeading and participating in drafting sessions for underwriting assignmentsConducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactionsInteract with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankersQualifications:0-3 years of relevant work experienceSelf-motivated individuals who display initiative, drive, and leadershipExcellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accountingStrong communication skills, both written and oralEducational Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree required, preferably from a top-tier schoolMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0Salary: $100,000 - $110,000The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000.The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
