Production Manager

Spray-Tek is an industry leader providing custom spray drying services to leading companies in the worlds most quality-conscious industries. In face of new projects and acquisitions, we are searching for a Production Manager to join our team for our Bethlehem, PA facility.Role: Production Manager (Full-Time), reports to the Plant Manager for assignments, direction, and assistance.Position Summary:The Production Manager (PM) is a member of the Site Management Team, and will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The Production Manager will drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and customer satisfaction. And will provides leadership to supervision and employees and ensures they have the proper tools to perform their job safely and efficiently.Accountabilities:*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.Production Oversight: Manage daily production activities to ensure products are manufactured on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.Working with quality to ensure full compliance with GMP, USDA, and FDA requirements within a department and ensure the department operates as per the agreed standards and protocols.Enforcing the agreed safety systems and procedures within a department to ensure a safe and accident-free environment.Managing the department to ensure delivery of the product to the agreed production schedule.Co-ordinating activities with maintenance, quality, and stores to ensure smooth reliable operation.Converting the production plan into a daily and shift plan that meets demand needs as well as optimizing the plant performance and efficiency.Continual process improvementImplementing initiatives to continually improve the safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance of the plant.Management Information ReportsPreparing all the required departmental reports on time-related to production.
