What You'll Do:Support Director of Planning in developing seasonal OTB by store by category for full price stores and ecommerce; liaising with Director of Merchandising and Buyers as necessary. Ensure OTB ties to financial target and trends.Follow-through to ensure that OTB budgets once approved by President are updated and respected by Buying Team. Update President and Director of Planning on a timely basis on any requests made by Buying Team or HQ that could affect the OTB which has been approved locally. Manage all Carry Over orders within market as well as off market periods.Develop non-seasonal OTB (licensed product) quarterly; to ensure inventory supports the annual financial plan; liaising with Director of Merchandising and Buyers as necessary.Monitor seasonal and non-seasonal opportunities at SKU level. Review bestsellers with buyers weekly (including WOS report), and project reorder quantity at the size level in timely manner. Make recommendations for allocations/transfers at SKU level for stores. At the end of each season, identify categories with excess inventory to lead mark-down and movement to outlet analysis and decision. Provide in-depth analysis and reporting: Weekly & Monthly sales reports, sales by class, sell through, Bestsellers, WOS, etc.Prepare and issue daily/weekly reporting on Business Performance, including Sales Penetration, Best Sellers, Slow Sellers, Sales vs Plan, etc., with qualitative comments on key drivers, risk, and opportunities. Lead weekly business review meetings with the Director of Planning.For Full Price stores and Ecommerce, monitor receipts flow and pro-actively recommend strategies to maintain adequate inventory levels and achieve sales targets.Analyze current trends and historical data to identify risks and opportunities at the SKU level.Identify business opportunities through analysis, market research, analyzing sales performance, competition, and trends.
