Position SummaryThe role is field-based at contracted deep-sea terminals (East Coast/ Mid-Atlantic). Responsibilities include managing cargo flow, overseeing third-party logistics for sustainable products, directing warehouse operations, and ensuring safety and compliance.Main ResponsibilitiesSupport daily terminal operations and serve as the primary liaison between company and terminal operators.Ensure terminal operators secure necessary resources for vessel operations.Resolve logistics issues and provide visibility on terminal activities and inefficiencies.Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitor vessel discharge operations.Assist in inventory management and report on damaged cargo.Collaborate on risk management programs and participate in financial meetings to track terminal costs.Evaluate potential third-party terminals for product transport.Position ProfileEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; relevant certifications preferred. Prerequisites:5+ years in logistics/supply chain operations.Familiarity with safety regulations (HSE, OSHA, etc.) and union experience preferred.TWIC card eligibility, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and fluent in English.Ability to travel and work in industrial environments.Experience with stevedoring, rail systems, and Transportation Management Systems; advanced degrees or certifications in Supply Chain/Analytics.
